ANGRAU Research Associate Recruitment 2026 – Walkin

Eligible candidates can attend a walk-in interview on 22 October 2026, reporting at 10:30 AM at RARS, Lam, for 1 temporary vacancy of Research Associate (RA) notified by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). The engagement is on a temporary basis for 11 months from the date of joining. Applicants holding a Doctoral Degree/ Ph.D or Master’s degree in Agro-Meterology/Agronomy may attend the walk-in selection process. The pay for the Research Associate (RA) post is Rs. 61,000 or Rs. 67,000 + HRA per month. Candidates attending the interview must bring bio-data, two sets of Xerox copies of educational qualifications along with originals, and submit applications on plain paper giving bio-data, name and address of the two references.

Posts and Eligibility

The recruitment is for 1 temporary post of Research Associate (RA) in Agro-Meterology/Agronomy to work in Gramin Krishi Mousam Seva at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Lam, Guntur. The position is temporary for 11 months from the date of joining.

Qualifications: Doctoral Degree/ Ph.D in Agro-Meterology/Agronomy (preferable); or Master’s degree in Agro-Meterology/Agronomy with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or equivalent overall point average with at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements, published one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. All relevant degrees should be completed if any in ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years for men and 45 years for women. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government norms for SC/ST candidates.
