IGKV Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Guest Teacher / Part Time Teacher Posts

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) is recruiting candidates for 1 Guest Teacher / Part Time Teacher post on a purely temporary basis for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates must apply offline by submitting the duly filled application by registered post or by hand to the Office of the Dean, BRSM College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Research Station, Pandariya Road on or before 23 October 2026, starting from 13 October 2026. The required qualification is a Master degree in relevant subject (Soil Science) of Agriculture faculty with at least 55% marks and NET/Ph.D. The pay is Rs. 1,800 Per Day (Ph.D. and NET qualified, Max Rs. 40,000 per month). The selection process involves shortlisting of applications followed by an interview.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Qualification Required: Master degree in the relevant subject (Soil Science) of Agriculture faculty with at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scale with good academic record), along with NET (National Eligibility Test) or Ph.D. For candidates having Master’s degree, NET qualified shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentially NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009, and the candidates has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify nor NET Exemption.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years. 5 years age relaxation for ST, SC, OBC and Women candidate as per C.G. Govt. rules.
