IIM Ahmedabad Predoctoral Research Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has released the recruitment notification for Predoctoral Research Assistant posts on a contract basis. Who Can Apply

Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related discipline with high quantitative and/or mathematical content. A master’s degree will be preferred. Applicants should have some experience conducting economic analysis, such as estimating regression models with observational data, and be comfortable programming in Stata, R, or Python. Experience with discrete choice models or other structural methods would be appreciated, along with an expected interest in energy, environmental, or urban economics.

Pay and Tenure

The initial appointment is for eleven months, subject to satisfactory progress, with the possibility of extension based on performance and future opportunities. Compensation is provided as per IIMA norms.
