MCD Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for 30 Posts

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is recruiting candidates for 30 Senior Resident vacancies on a contract basis under advertisement number MS/MGH/2026. Eligible candidates holding the required post-wise qualifications can attend the walk-in interview on 29 October 2026 at Mata Gujri Hospital. Applicants must report for registration and physical verification between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM on 29 October 2026, bringing a filled application form along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents in order and a demand draft. If vacancies remain unfilled, weekly walk-in interviews are conducted every Thursday until posts are filled.

MCD Senior Resident Salary

Doctors are not entitled to benefits like Provident fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, accommodation, or any other benefits available to government servants appointed on a regular basis.

MCD Senior Resident Application Fee

The fee is payable in the form of a Demand Draft / Pay Order (non-refundable) in favour of “COMMISSIONER, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI”, payable at Delhi. Fee submitted for the interview is non-refundable.

How to Apply for MCD Senior Resident

1. Download the prescribed application form and notification details from the official website https://mcdonline.nic.in/ by clicking on Recruitment.
2. Fill up all columns in the application form properly.
3. Prepare one set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents in the specified order along with one passport-size photograph.
4. Obtain a Demand Draft or Pay Order for the required application fee in favour of “COMMISSIONER, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI” payable at Delhi.
5. Report for registration and physical verification of original documents between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM on 29/10/2026 (Thursday).
6. Attend the Walk-In-Interview at Mata Gujri Hospital, Administration Department, Block-11, Near Tilak Nagar Metro Station, New Delhi-110018 between 11:00 AM and 04:00 PM.

MCD Senior Resident Important Instructions

• The engagement will initially be for a period of one year, extendable by one year at a time up to a maximum of three years for PG candidates only, subject to satisfactory work performance and conduct.
• Advertised posts comprise both vacant posts and posts presently occupied by Non-PG candidates, which are to be filled by eligible PG candidates. If a suitable PG candidate is unavailable, a Non-PG candidate may be considered provisionally and replaced if a PG candidate becomes available later.
• No private practice whatsoever will be allowed.
• Candidates who are in service must bring a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their Head of Institution/employer at the time of interview.
• If any vacancy remains unfilled on the date of the walk-in interview, weekly walk-in interviews are conducted every Thursday at Mata Gujri Hospital until all vacancies are filled.
• Inter-hospital or inter-institutional transfer is not permitted without permission of the competent authority.
• The appointment can be terminated at any time by either side on giving 15 days salary without assigning any reason.
