Pay and Tenure

The monthly emoluments depend on the candidate’s qualification status:

• (a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA: Applicable for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE, OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.
• (b) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA: Applicable for other candidates who do not fall under category (a) above.

House Rent Allowance (HRA) shall be admissible as per applicable rules, and project staff must make their own arrangements for accommodation. The positions are purely temporary, co-terminus with the project, and tenure shall not exceed six or seven years as per CSIR guidelines.
