Pay and Tenure

The engagement is purely temporary, project-specific, and coterminous with the project. The remuneration is all-inclusive. No TA/DA, HRA, accommodation, food, medical expenses, or other allowances are admissible, except for field travel specifically authorized in writing by the Divisional Forest Officer in accordance with applicable departmental norms.

Researchers and fellows will assist in data collection, field surveys, analysis, and documentation required for the Working Plan. Their duties and tasks include:

• Socio-economic survey and assessment
• Soil survey and assessment
• Biodiversity assessment
• Assessment of Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP)
• Assessment of forest carbon stock and carbon sequestration
• Assessment of Bamboo and Rattan
• Soil Erosion Vulnerability Assessment
• Assessment of eco-system services
• Assessment of impact of Forest Fires and Vulnerability
• Assessment of Human-Wild Animal Conflicts
• Any other work as per NWPC-2023
