National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) under the CFDS Project is recruiting candidates for 6 project-based vacancies, comprising Project Manager, GIS Developer, Full Stack Developer, CAD Engineer, Embedded Engineer, and Cyber Security Engineer posts. These positions are purely on a temporary basis, initially for 12 months and extendable if required. Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications for their respective posts as detailed below:

• Project Manager: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, GIS, Geoinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Defence Technology or equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institute OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / GIS / Geoinformatics / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Remote Sensing) with relevant professional experience. Requires 5-8+ years of experience. Desirable experience includes defense technology programs, software systems, modelling & simulation platforms, UAVs, and Command & Control (C2) environments.
• GIS Developer: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, GIS, Geoinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Defence Technology OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / GIS / Geoinformatics / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Remote Sensing). Requires 0-2+ years of experience in PostgreSQL/PostGIS, QGIS/ArcGIS, Python/JavaScript, and spatial databases.
• Full Stack Developer: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology) with relevant experience. Requires 0-2+ years of experience in React.js, Angular, Vue.js, Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• CAD Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology) with relevant experience. Requires 0-2+ years of experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Fusion 360, 3D modelling, and 2D drafting.
• Embedded Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mechanical Engineer, Electronics & Communication OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology) with relevant experience. Requires 0-2+ years of experience in embedded hardware/firmware, C/C++, Python, Embedded Linux/RTOS, and microcontrollers.
• Cyber Security Engineer: MTech in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science. Requires 0-2+ years of experience in defining cybersecurity architecture for C2/C4ISR systems, VAPT, and secure SDLC.

Pay and Tenure

The engagement is purely contractual and project-based under NFSU CFDS Projects for strategic technology and defence-oriented programs. The monthly remuneration is ₹1,40,000/- for the Project Manager and up to ₹40,000/- for all other positions. The remuneration indicated is the maximum amount payable and actual remuneration may be decided or revised based on qualifications, experience, performance in the interview, and suitability. The initial engagement period is 01 year, which is extendable based on project requirements and performance.
