RITES has invited applications for 10 vacancies. Each post has its own Vacancy Circular (VC) number, which must be quoted in the email subject line.

RITES Important Dates

RITES Eligibility Criteria

This requirement is only for retired (Govt/PSU) employees. Eligibility depends on the post applied for, and each post has its own educational and experience conditions, given in the next section. Two general conditions also apply:

• The maximum age is 64 years as on 31.10.2026.
• Those who have been imposed any major penalty during the last 10 years, or minor penalty during the last 05 years of service, are not eligible to apply.

Where the notification shows a dash (-) under educational qualification, no minimum educational qualification is specified for that post. Experience conditions are listed for every post.

RITES Age Limit

Date of birth is to be proved with the High School certificate.

RITES Salary

The notification gives the salary as a percentage of the last basic pay and does not state a fixed rupee amount for any post.

Nature and Period of Engagement

The appointment is purely on contractual basis, initially for a period of one year. It is extendable until completion of the assignment, subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance. The actual deployment will be subject to fulfilment of requirements.

Applicants must register on the RITES website and then email the generated registration document with the required attachments.

1. Visit the RITES website (http://www.rites.com).
2. Go to the “Career” tab, then “Expert Registration”, then “Registration for Consultant/Expert”.
3. Complete the registration format and generate the registration document.
4. Email the registration document to Shri Narendra Mohan Soy, DGM/Civil, at narendra.soy@rites.com.
5. Use the subject line: “Application for the post of ………… VC No …./26(E)”.
6. Attach the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A and Annexure-B) and the documents listed below.
7. Send everything within 10 days from the date of publication
