ICAR CIRCOT Young Professional II Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

ICAR Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR CIRCOT) has announced 1 vacancy for the Young Professional II post on a contractual basis. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project till 31 March 2027, offering a pay of Rs. 42,000 per month. Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess the essential educational qualifications specified for the position. Desirable qualifications and specializations are also considered during evaluation.

• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Desirable Qualification: Specialization in genetic engineering, bioinformatics tools, or CRISPR/Cas9 technology.
• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Pay and Tenure

The selected Young Professional II will receive a consolidated emolument of Rs. 42,000/- per month. The position is purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project up to 31 March 2027. There is no provision for absorption or re-employment in ICAR-CIRCOT or ICAR after the completion of the time-bound project.

Selection and Interview

Candidates currently employed elsewhere must submit a valid NOC from their current employer, without which they will not be considered for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
