BMC Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for Registrar ICU & ICU HOD Posts
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is recruiting candidates for 2 contract vacancies, comprising Registrar ICU and ICU HOD posts, through a walk-in interview under advertisement number HO/3273/ BH (NTC) for its 2026 recruitment. Eligible candidates holding an MBBS with 3 posts in MICU with independently handling ICU procedures for the Registrar ICU post or an MD, DNB in Medicine for the ICU HOD post can attend the walk-in interviews scheduled for 26 October 2026 and 27 October 2026. The consolidated pay is Rs. 1,10,000 or 1,25,000/- for Registrar ICU and Rs. 1,35,000 to 2,00,000/- for ICU HOD, based on qualification and experience. What Happens on the Day
Candidates must report at the designated registration venue within the specified registration timing. Candidates reporting after the end of the registration time will not be allowed to attend the interview. Selection is for a 6-month special pay tenure (1st August to 31st January and 1st February to 31st July) starting from 1st November till 31st January 2027, with further extension possible based on performance through proper channel application.

BMC Registrar ICU & ICU HOD Recruitment 2026 – FAQs
Q1. Are these positions permanent or on contract?
These posts are 6-month special pay tenure posts, and selected candidates shall not be treated as regular employees of BMC with no right for regular absorption.
Q2. What is the duration of the appointment?
The appointment will be given from 1st November till 31st January 2027, with a possible six-month extension based on performance.
