Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad) has announced 1 vacancy for the Junior Research Assistant / Senior Research Assistant / Research Associate post on a contract basis under advertisement number 1000/MED/F-80/2026. The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, with a pay of Rs. 28,000 per month. Eligible candidates holding a B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy Engineering, or other relevant specializations can apply by downloading the prescribed application form from the official website and sending it by email along with scanned copies of supporting documents. Who Can Apply

Candidates must be Indian nationals and residents of Uttar Pradesh. The essential and desirable qualifications vary by the level of appointment as specified below:

• Junior Research Assistant (JRA): Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) or equivalent degree with high academic attainment and 1st class in graduate and postgraduate examination.
• Senior Research Assistant (SRA): 1st class M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree, or M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Ag.) / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. with high academic attainment and at least two years of research experience after M.Sc. as evident from published papers in reputed journals.
• Research Associate (RA): Minimum Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or M.Tech. / M.E. / M.D. with three years of research, design, and development experience.
• Desirable Experience: Candidates having relevant experience in heat and mass transfer, adsorption, atmospheric water harvesting, carbon capture, thermal systems, experimental research, instrumentation, IoT-based systems, or related areas will be preferred.

Pay and Tenure

The fellowship is ₹28,000/- per month on a consolidated basis. Accommodation may be available subject to availability and Institute norms. Selected candidates may be permitted to register for a Ph.D. programme at MNNIT Allahabad subject to fulfilling eligibility requirements and applicable Institute rules. Leave and other benefits are applicable as per project staff guidelines.
