• Computer Programmer: First Division in B.E./B.Tech Computer Science / MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science / B.E. (IT) / Oracle with 70% marks, weightage given for computer practical exam (15 marks) and .Net Technology / Java / M.S.SQL / Oracle knowledge (5 marks), plus 2 years of work experience in government rural development schemes (5 marks for 2 years, 10 marks for over 2 years).
• Programme Officer: First Division in M.A. / M.Sc. / M.B.A. / B.E. / MRTM (Master of Rural Technology and Management) in Mathematics or Physics, with 70% marks, weightage given for computer practical exam (15 marks), plus 1 to 5 years of work experience in government rural development schemes (5 marks for 1-2 years, 10 marks for 5 years, 15 marks for over 5 years).
• Assistant Programmer: MCA / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / M.Sc. IT or equivalent from a recognised university with 45% marks, plus computer practical exam based merit (45 marks, minimum 60 marks required), plus 1 to 5 years of work experience in government rural development schemes (5 marks for 1 year, 10 marks for 5 years, 15 marks for over 5 years).
• Accountant: 55% marks in B.Com (for unreserved category) and passing marks for SC/ST in B.Com, plus Higher Secondary with 20% weightage, B.Com degree with 50% weightage, computer practical exam (15 marks), plus 1 to 5 years of work experience in government rural development schemes (5 marks for 1-2 years, 10 marks for 5 years, 15 marks for over 5 years).

Age Limit

Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2026. General Administration Department rules provide age relaxation up to 45 years for local residents of Chhattisgarh who are regular government servants, public sector/board/corporation/contract employees/ex-servicemen. An additional 5 years of age relaxation applies to local educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh under departmental norms, provided the total relaxation does not exceed 45 years.

The positions are established under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Mission (VB-G RAM G) (Gramin) at Zila Panchayat Jashpur to handle programmatic, computer programming, and accounting tasks at district and block levels on a contractual basis.
