All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) has announced 20 vacancies for Tutor / Demonstrator posts across departments including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology & Lab Medicine, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Radiation Oncology. The appointment is made on a contract basis for a period of 12 months under the Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme, with Level 10 pay applicable. Eligible candidates possessing an MBBS with internship or a Master’s degree in the discipline or allied subject can apply through online registration on the AIIMS, Jodhpur website from 12 October 2026 to 2 November 2026. Applicants must note that they can apply in only one department, and hard copies of the online application should not be sent.

Pay and Terms
The appointment entitles the appointee to a remuneration of ₹ 15,600-39,100 + ₹ 5,400 (Grade Pay) + NPA plus other usual allowance or revised pay scale as per 7th CPC as applicable (Level – 10 of the Matrix, entry pay of ₹ 56,100/- PM plus usual allowances). Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) is applicable for medical candidates only. The appointment is on a contract basis for an initial period of 12 months under the Central Residency Scheme and will not vest any right to claim permanent absorption.

AIIMS Jodhpur Recruitment 2026 – FAQs
Q1. Is this AIIMS Jodhpur appointment permanent or on contract?
The appointment is made on a contract basis for an initial period of 12 months under the Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme and does not vest any right to claim permanent absorption.
Q2. Are allowances paid on top of the basic pay?
Yes, appointees receive remuneration as per the pay scale with usual allowances admissible under rules, plus Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) specifically applicable for medical candidates.
Q3. What relaxations are provided in the upper age limit?
The upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and up to 10 years for PwBD General candidates, 13 years for PwBD OBC candidates, and 15 years for PwBD SC/ST candidates.
Q4. How are candidates shortlisted for selection?
Shortlisting of candidates will be done in a 1:6 ratio, and a written examination or interview will be conducted depending upon the number of applications received.
Q5. Can a candidate apply for more than one department?
No, a candidate can apply in only one department. Filling more than one application against the seat, department, or subject will result in the cancellation of all such applications.
