CPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for Trade, Technician & Graduate Apprentice Posts

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is inviting online applications for Trade Apprentice (ITI Passed), Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) / Guest House Service Asst., Graduate Apprentice (Non-Eng. Degree), Graduate Apprentice (Secretarial Office Assistant – Oil & Gas), Executive (Human Resource) – Oil & Gas, Graduate Apprentice (Degree in Engineering), Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering), and Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator) posts under its 2026 recruitment notification HRD:03:26. Candidates are engaged on a contract basis under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, with stipends varying by post such as Rs. 11,040 for ITI passed trade apprentices and Rs. 12,300 for graduate and technician apprentices. Eligible applicants must register with 100% profile completion on the NATS or NAPS portal and apply online on or before 22 October 2026. The selection is based on a merit list formed from the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification.

Who Can Apply

Qualification

Candidates must have acquired educational qualifications as prescribed above from a recognized institution and must have registered on the respective Apprenticeship portal (NAPS, NATS) with 100% profile completion. Only those who have passed their final exams in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 are eligible to apply. Candidates must possess a First Class in the qualifying examination with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Candidates awaiting results or who have undergone a job elsewhere for one year or more are not eligible.

Age

Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on the date of reckoning i.e., 01.10.2026.

Reservation

Relaxation will be given as per Presidential Directives on Reservation.

Stipend and Training Period

Stipends range from Rs. 4,800/- to Rs. 12,300/- per month depending on the trade or apprenticeship category. For apprentices engaged under NATS, 50% of the total stipend will be paid through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) by the Government, requiring candidates to have an active Aadhaar-seeded bank account that is DBT-enabled.

1. Visit the respective portal depending on your trade: National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) website at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for Sl. No. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 8, or National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) website at https://nats.education.gov.in/student register.php for Sl. No. 3, 6, and 7.
2. Register on the NATS / NAPS Apprenticeship Portal as applicable and complete your profile to 100% profile completion.
3. LOGIN to the respective NATS/NAPS portal using your User ID or Email ID.
4. Search and apply for the Apprenticeship Openings / Opportunities with “Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited” as the Establishment Name.
5. Complete or update your profile by uploading all required documents and submit the application online through the respective apprenticeship portal.

Selection Process

Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on a merit list formed on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification applicable to the respective trade.
