Selections are made through a walk-in interview. In the event of a large number of applications, the duly constituted committee will adopt criteria to shortlist candidates through percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification, higher educational qualifications, desirable qualification/experience, or any other methodology deemed fit.

CSIR CFTRI Important Instructions

• No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without original certificates.
• No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview.
• The total period of engagement of project personnel across CSIR labs cumulatively shall not exceed 06 years.
• Applicants who have completed the total tenure of 6 years in any CSIR lab/institute as project staff are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
• Selected candidates must submit one month’s prior notice or deposit one month’s stipend in lieu if they wish to discontinue before tenure completion.
• Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification.
• The engagement is initially for a period up to March 2027 and may be extendable up to October 2027 based on requirements and project duration.
