Language & Field Work Proficiency

• Fluency in Tamil and English.
• Willingness to undertake community/field work.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience in community-based work, research studies, public health, or field data collection.
• Basic computer skills / MS-Word / Excel / PowerPoint / data-entry and research-documentation skills.

JIPMER Project Nurse-II Age Limit

Maximum Age Limit: 28 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications, i.e., 21/10/2026).

JIPMER Project Nurse-II Salary

Initial appointment will be given for 11 months for Year I, with extension based on performance. The total project duration is 3 years.

JIPMER Project Nurse-II Selection Process

The selection process consists of a written test followed by an interview. The written test and interview shall carry 80% and 20% weightage respectively. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on written-test performance, in the ratio of 3–5 candidates per available post.

Written Test and Interview Areas

Basic nursing/community health, medication safety and biomedical-waste management, nursing/technical knowledge, prior research/community experience, field-work suitability, teamwork, and willingness to travel.
